Resort Attractions

Bella Vista Hotel is the place to stay in Weston-Super-Mare
all year round resort

Experience Beauty

The Bella Vista is attractively located just 100 yards from the beach and Knightstone Harbour. Within easy walking distance of all attractions, shopping, bars, restaurants, cafes, cinemas, theatres, clubs etc; we are easily accessed, throughout the year, from the local railway and bus stations and by road travellers.

Once here, it's time to explore the facilities and attractions

The focus of any family resort is the beach and here at Weston, just a short walk from the Bella Vista Hotel, guests can enjoy the level Promenade, miles of glorious sandy beaches with spectacular views of the Bristol Channel and yes, even traditional seaside donkeys!

Don't miss out on the Sand Sculpture Festival, the Children's Water Adventure Park and adjacent crazy golf course.

The spectacular Grand Pier is open all year with lots of fun-packed amenities and the range of musical, theatrical, comedy and films events at the Playhouse Theatre, Tropicana and Blakehay Theatre all contribute to Weston’s very special appeal.

Other Outdoor Activities Include...

  • Grand Pier
  • Sea Aquarium
  • Helicopter Museum (*the world’s largest!)
  • Weston-Super-Mare never really closes and local and international events are staged in the resort throughout the year.

Upcoming Events for 2017

The programme of events held in Weston-super-Mare in 2016 was by far the best that the town has offered for many years and coupled with the many attractions (for the good and bad weather!) in the wider area around Weston-Super-Mare (Puxton Park, Cheddar, Wells, Bristol, etc), we are not surprised that so many people visited the town and said how much they enjoyed their stay.

An even bigger line-up of events will be taking place in town for 2016, particularly building on the successful events already held at the Tropicana, which was re-opened for the world-famous Dismaland event organised by the artist Banksy in 2005. Below are a list of some of these (more will be added). There will also be a huge range of events on the pier (www.grandpier.co.uk for further info), the Sand Sculpture Festival will be back and Weston's Playhouse Theatre secured some major West End shows and big names in 20165 and more top-quality events will be happening in 2017 (www.theplayhouse.co.uk). An up-to-date list of events can also be found on the Love Weston website – www.loveweston.com
