In May, the European Cup Water Ski Races promise thrills and spills whilst July sees the Music & Dance Festival as well as the Helicopter Weekend with military and civil helicopters on show and pleasure flights from the beach. In September, laugh yourself silly with the very serious International Clown Festival. October’s fun is at the Motorcycle Enduro Beach Race and November lights up the calendar with the Illuminated Carnival.

Summer though remains the best time to be here though with boat trips on the Waverley Paddle Steamer, the Balmoral and Brittania Queen from Knightstone Harbour. There is a land train too that journeys right along the sea front from Knightstone and is perfect for getting a taste of everything Weston-Super-Mare is famous for.

With live music, dancing, restaurants offering cuisine from all over the world, comedy, theatre and clubs, Weston-Super-Mare is great for night-life too. Even outdoor enthusiasts will be spoilt for choice, with endless miles of coastline and spectacular countryside offer ideal locations for activities such as walking, cycling, riding and much more.
